Vylezli jsme ze stromů, jó, ho, ho, hó,
muž, žena bok po boku, jó, ho, hó,
u velkého jezera a z Dubů a Líp,

Avšak břeh je kluzký a jezero velké,
brzy do něj spadnou ti,
co se mají Vindy stát – co se mají Vindy stát!
Nechte proud, ať nás unáší,
mezi světy nechť nás provází!
Vždyť je to naše povinnost,

V proudu se teď topíme, jó, ho, ho, hó,

řeka teče mezi lesy a skálami,
